Your guide will pick you up, and together you’ll journey towards Cusipata village, a two-hour drive away. Pause in this charming village for a delightful breakfast before continuing on a scenic one-hour drive through a mesmerizing valley, where snowcapped mountains stand tall, and herds of alpacas and llamas graze peacefully.

As you reach the community of Chillihuani at 4700 meters, the real ascent begins. Traverse a vibrant glacial valley, painting a picture of color, and ascend to the Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain pass at 5200 meters. The approximately two-hour hike rewards you with breathtaking views. Take a moment to soak in the scenery and relax before retracing your steps back to the car.

Returning to Cusipata, indulge in a well-deserved lunch before embarking on a 2 ½ hour drive to the traditional community of Raqchi. Here, a warm welcome awaits from your host family. For dinner, engage in a unique experience as you cook together, gaining insights into the authentic flavors of Peru.
