Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Embark to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Enjoy the sceneries along roads with farms, small villages, mountains and get immerse in the Andean culture. The first stop will be the village of Chinchero, where a local family will teach you about the process of weaving textiles. We will enjoy a box lunch and then continue to the salt pans of Maras, a place owned and worked by the local farmers since pre-Columbian times. After that you will head to Moray where you can explore the impressive construction of circular terraces used once as an agricultural laboratory. Transfer to your hotel in Ollantaytambo.

Pick up from the hotel. Transfer t to the station to take the panoramic train in direction to Aguas Calientes. Enjoy the beautiful ride along the Urubamba river. Once in Aguas Calientes town you will take the bus up to Machupicchu (7875 ft) and explore the mysterious Inca citadel with your guide. After an interesting excursion and picture taking time, you will return to Aguas Calientes, where you can have a delicious lunch and explore the handicraft market of the area. Then you have to go to station to take your afternoon train back to Ollantaytambo. Transfer back to your hotel in Cusco where you will arrive around 8 pm

IMPORTANT: Big luggage (suitcases)are not allowed on the trains; you can only take as maximum 20 pounds in a small duffle bag or small carry on or a daypack. (The big suitcases stay in the hotel in the Sacred Valley)

Embarking from the hotel post-breakfast, get ready for a delightful journey through the Sacred Valley. Our first intriguing stop involves a visit to a local Chicheria, a traditional bar steeped in Andean culture, renowned for crafting the popular fermented corn beer used in significant ceremonies and daily life. Dive into the local experience by visiting a nearby house and savoring Choclo con queso (Corn and cheese) and other traditional snacks prepared by the welcoming family. Immerse yourself in the process of creating Chicha morada (purple corn juice) and a regional dessert. Our adventure continues as we head to Pisaq to unravel the mysteries of its archaeological site before transferring to Cusco. What fascinating flavors and cultural insights await you on this enchanting expedition? Let the exploration unfold!

Option 1: HUMANTAY LAKE HIKE 

4:30 am Pick Up from the hotel. Today our adventure starts very early in the morning with a scenic 3 ½ -hour drive to Soraypampa (12 795 ft) passing by beautiful valleys and traditional villages.

On the way we will stop at Mollepata Village to have some hot drinks and use the bathrooms. Once in Soraypampa we will enjoy a a great view of Humantay and Salcantay glaciers.

Here we will start ascending towards Humantay lake (13780 ft) for 2 hours. At the end of the trail, we will have a spectacular view of a turquoise lake at the bottom of the glacier. Take your time to experience the tranquility of the place and take some great pictures of this magnificent place. Descend back to Soraypampa (1 ½ hr) where our car will be waiting for you to take you back to Mollepata for Lunch and then back to Cusco.

Approximately time of arrival 5pm

Walking time/distance: 2hrs uphill, 1 ½ hrs descent /3,7 miles

Option 2: CONQUER RAINBOW MOUNTAIN VINICUNCA 

Early breakfast at the hotel. Your guide will pick and you will head in direction to Cusipata village (2 hours) where you stop to enjoy a very nice breakfast. The rest of the ride (1 hr.) takes you through a beautiful valley with stunning views of snowcapped mountains passing by herds of alpacas and llamas. Arrive to the community of Chillihuani (15420 ft) where you start climbing through a colorful glacial valley to get to the pass of Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain(1689 ft) (2hrs of hike approx.) After a relaxing time enjoying the views, start your way back to the car. Then head back to Cusipata to enjoy lunch. Finally, return to Cusco.

Estimated walking time: 2 hours ascend, 1 hr. descend

Important information: If you don´t want to hike the total distance to the Rainbow mountain or Humantay lake, you can rent a horse at the beginning of the trail.

Pick up from the hotel. Transfer to Cusco airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado. At your arrival your guide will be waiting for you and transfer to your hotel or lodge nearby the Tambopata River. Enjoy the nice views and the sounds of Tambopata River and the jungle. Afternoon boat ride to look for caymans and capibaras.

Morning pick up. We will visit one of the mamazonian communities and have the oportunity to interact with them and learn about the amazing knowlegde they have about the plants and animals. Then you will be taken on a boat to the starting point of the hike to go to Sandoval Lake (3 hrs. round trip hike). Sandoval lake is a beautiful spot in the middle of the rainforest where you can appreciate giant otters and some other animals like monkeys.

Overnight: Tambopata in Enai hotel or similar

Important information: The order of the activities could be change according to the weather or the guides advice, but you will cover them all. The activities in the amazon jungle could be share with other people.

Very early in the morning we will go up stream to look for a parrot clay lick, where we can appreciate different species of birds and parrots eating. This is a spectacular show. Then we will head to the canopy where we can walk along suspension bridges meanwhile, we spot some wildlife and enjoy the views. After this adventure we will head back to the lodge and get ready to go to the airport. Take an afternoon flight to Lima.

8:30 am Pick up. After a nice breakfast you will be taken in your private transport to Paracas (3 ½ hr ride), Then transfer to Huacachina Oasis. Walk along the small lagoon and take the small pedal boats to enjoy a nice ride in the Huacachina lagoon. Then your guide will take you for a short walk on the dessert dunes until you get to the sand buggies station. You will be driven deep inside the desert to the highest dunes. If you have an adventurous spirit you can also try doing sand boarding. After all the adrenaline running through your body, chill out and enjoy the amazing views of the sunset before your return to your hotel in Paracas

Optional included Activity: Visit a vineyard, taste some pisco and Peruvian wine and learn about the process of making it.

7:45 am pick up from the hotel. You will enjoy a boat excursion to Ballestas Islands where you can appreciate Sea lions, different species of birds, Humboldt penguins, and part of the rich wildlife of the Pacific Ocean. After the boat tour you can enjoy some time walking along the pear and have a nice lunch. Then visit to the National Reserve of Paracas. Visit the famous view point of La cathedral and enjoy the beautiful desert landscapes and rock formations nearby the Pacific Ocean shore. Transfer back to Lima
